Pel’s Island Camp is situated on an island in the Okavango Delta
During certain times of the year (typically April to August), seasonal flooding may cause some game drive roads around camp to become inaccessible
Access to the camp itself is not affected, however self-driving activities may not always be possible during these periods
Conditions vary depending on rainfall and annual Delta flood levels
During high water levels, we recommend Mokoro excursions and guided walks as the best way to experience the surrounding wilderness and waterways

Our camp features 4 private self-catering chalets, each overlooking a large hippo pool and surrounded by the unspoiled beauty of the Botswana bush. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy, each chalet accommodates 2 adults on a king-size bed, with the option to add 2 single beds for children — ideal for couples and small families.
